About the event
Andrew Danso is a researcher in music therapy at the University of Jyväskylä, interested in how music technology may help in the therapeutic process. The aim of his PhD project “Moving Matters: Virtual Reality and Music Guided Rehabilitation For Neglect Patients" is to provide a positive therapeutic outcome for patients suffering with stroke and neglect. He also works as the administrative assistant for the European Society for the Cognitive Sciences of Music (ESCOM). His main research interests are in neurologic music therapy, physical rehabilitation and cognitive science.
